This fall marks the 48th Annual NSBE/SHPE Career Fair, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's largest student-run recruiting event.
For nearly five decades, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) have proudly collaborated to host a career fair that brings together over 200+ top employers and 4000+ talented students.

OUR ORGANIZATIONS
National Society of Black Engineers
The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is to "increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers to excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." NSBE is the largest student run organization in the nation with over 30,000 members. NSBE is now comprised of more than 400 chapters on college and university campuses, 75 Alumni Extension chapters and 114 Pre-Collegiate chapters nationwide.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
The mission of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is to "change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support and development." Networking was the key basis for the newly founded organization, and immediately 2 student chapters were created. From these two student chapters SHPE has grown to be the largest and fastest growing Latino technical organization with more than 200 student chapters and 67 professional chapters in over 110 cities across the nation and even has a chapter overseas.
