National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is to "increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers to excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." NSBE is the largest student run organization in the nation with over 30,000 members. NSBE is now comprised of more than 270 chapters on college and university campuses, 75 Alumni Extension chapters and 75 Pre-Collegiate chapters nationwide.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)The mission of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is to "change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support and development." Networking was the key basis for the newly founded organization, and immediately 2 student chapters were created. From these two student chapters SHPE has grown to be the largest and fastest growing Latino technical organization with more than 109 student chapters and 31 professional chapters in over 110 cities across the nation and even has a chapter overseas.

The Career FairThis year is the 46th annual student run NSBE/SHPE career fair. Every fall, both organizations work together to bring the biggest recruiting event of the year to RPI. For 46 years, both organizations have pledged to run a career fair that serves as a great networking opportunity for students and recruiters alike, and this year will be no different.
The 46th NSBE/SHPE Career Fair will be held on-site September 26th - 27th, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday. |
